Project Summary:

MAS is a Migrant Education Program Consortium Incentive project designed in response to substantial needs identified in migrant students in the lead state of Texas and the consortium receiving states. Statistics show that migrant students are behind their peers in high stakes testing in mathematics. MAS features interstate and intrastate coordination to provide the most highly mobile students with research- and evidence-based curriculum, instruction, and supportive services that address their special needs. MAS's goal is to operate a high quality consortium that improves the intrastate and interstate coordination of migrant education programs by addressing key needs of migratory children who have had their education interrupted.
