Marty has consulted with META Associates since 2004 and has recently become more involved in several projects. He has worked at all levels of migrant education from teacher and recruiter to coordinator, trainer and supervisor. His specialties are educational technology, data collection and reporting, and electronic systems alignment.

Marty holds an M.A. from Teachers College, Columbia University in Computing and Education. His bachelor's degree was a double major in English Writing and Spanish Education from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. But his most important education came while teaching the children of migrant farm workers in Montana. As he helps states and projects tell their stories, it is wellfare of the children he keeps in mind.
